The Reapit feeds issue is now resolved.


24 March 2022 10:20 – Reapit feed users.

We are seeing some intermittent issues with some of our Reapit feeds this week, this is mainly affecting properties that have been submitted as withdrawn, sold, or let. Please be aware you may see discrepancies on your website while this is being resolved.

Our team of developers are looking into this and working closely with Reapit on a solution, we apologise for any inconvenience you may experience.

Please note all other feeds remain fully operational, this affects Reapit users only.


14 March 2022 12:10 – Website issues (resolved).

Our own internal testing seems to confirm that services have returned to normal. Customer websites are live, and seem stable. CMS admin is now available.

We have reactivated our property feed processing, and feeds should catch-up over the next few hours. If you have an RTDF feed and you are not seeing data changed for properties please do contact your feed provider in the first instance as they may need to resend some properties for you.


12 March 2022 12:00 – Website, CMS, and feed issues

There was a brief interruption to website availability (approx. 30-60 seconds). Sites appear to be functioning normally since the interruption.

Feeds and CMS are currently unavailable.

We have contacted Rackspace to request an urgent update on the matter as it appears to be very similar to the issues encountered last week. We made some changes to front end websites to improve resilience in such situations and these changes appear to be working well.

We will update here as soon as we get a response from Rackspace.


8 March 2022 14:15 – Website issues (assumed resolved).

Our own internal testing seems to confirm that services have returned to normal. Customer websites are live, and seem stable. CMS admin is now available.

We have reactivated our property feed processing, and feeds should catch-up over the next few hours. If you have an RTDF feed and you are not seeing data changed for properties updated between 10pm last night and 2pm today please do contact your feed provider in the first instance as they may need to resend some properties for you.

We are still awaiting full confirmation from our hosting provider, Rackspace, that all issues reported from their side are fixed.

We are still experiencing minor issues and you may have intermittent issues with your website. However due to mitigation we have implemented the errors caused by the Rackspace connectivity issues may be reduced.

The CMS admin is not available (although may appear to up/active – we can’t guarantee it).

Our hosting provider, Rackspace, is still working on resolving the issue with their 3rd party provider, and they will inform us as soon as there is progress.

We are still experiencing minor issues. You may have intermittent issues with your website. The CMS admin is not available.

Our hosting provider, Rackspace, is still working on resolving the issue with their 3rd party provider, and they will inform us as soon as there is progress.

Separately we are writing some workarounds to move services to routes and servers where they do have internet connectivity.

We are still experiencing issues with connectivity. You may see intermittent issues with your website.

Rackspace (our hosting infrastructure) have confirmed:
“On 7 March 2022, at 22:17 UTC, some customers in the LON region may be experiencing intermittent issues including potential latency, packet loss or failed connectivity. Engineers determined that an edge device is showing dark fibre faults and three out of four dark fibre circuits are down. This is also impacting connectivity between LON3 and LON5. Rackspace is contacting the vendor to assist in investigating”

We are aware that some client websites are not showing their website menu. We are treating this with high priority.

We are also aware that the admin systems are not working (you can’t login) and we are investigating that issue in tandem.

11 January 2021 14:47 – Website issues – RESOLVED

We’re pleased to inform you that this attack is no longer ongoing. The latest automatic mitigation to defend against the attack was deployed in the early hours of Saturday morning, and since then there has been no requirement for automatic mitigation. In collaboration with the security team at our hosting provider, Rackspace, we kept all the manual mitigation services in operation until this morning, as a precaution to filter out any malicious traffic that may have recurred.

After over 48 hours without triggering any automatic mitigations, we have also now removed the manual mitigations. There remains a chance of a recurrence, so we continue to monitor all our services, remain in close contact with Rackspace, and are ready to re-introduce manual mitigations if we register any further suspicious activity.

Traffic to websites has been very largely unaffected during this period, though there has been some temporary unavailability for a very small number of users (approximately 1%). The removal of the mitigations means that activity should be fully restored. Please let us know if you encounter any issues so that we can assist you.

Once again, many thanks for your patience as we worked through this very frustrating incident.

We are investigating issues with production websites. We believe it could be a DDOS attack (but that is still to be confirmed).

We are aware your website is down at the moment and are very sorry for the inconvenience. We believe we are suffering from a network wide targeted denial of service attack, it’s specific and is targeting us directly.

This began at approximately 22.01 Monday 4th. We have started working on it as soon as we were notified, which was within 4 minutes. Our engineers are working as quickly as possible to recover services, and we have involved support from our hosting company Rackspace.

Please do not interpret lack of communication for lack of action. We have everybody focused on this.

14 May 2018 12:30 – enquiry alert mailing issue (level: minor) – RESOLVED

Due to a temporary misconfiguration of a new server, a number of emails from Homeflow sites were blocked between 9th May and this morning. Our developers spotted and immediately fixed the issue, and a backlog of form leads that were held up by the issue are now being sent. We apologise for the issue, and the delay in sending these emails.

In future, we will increase the levels of our internal testing of new server deployments prior to go-live to ensure that the situation does not recur. The automated scaling that our engineering team are working on also includes checks for this.

30 April 2018 0930 – Notice of planned maintenance

We are writing to notify you of planned maintenance to the Homeflow agency application.

Rackspace have informed Homeflow that the firewalls on our servers needs to be upgraded (patched) for security reasons.
This upgrade will make the websites unresponsive for around 20 minutes.

The maintenance will take place Saturday 5 May 2018 between 6.00am – 7.00am but will only be of 10-20 minutes maximum duration during those times.
