Homeflow Client Update November

This month we highlight a security update to our login system; the launch of our Streetview editor; the value of Boomerang and a preview of a new feature coming to the Homeflow CMS.

1.  Homeflow CMS Login: Update 

In support of our mission to make your data as secure as possible, we have added authentication into the login to your CMS system. Now when you log in you will see the URL has changed to:

  •  https://{youragency}.content.homeflow.co.uk/authentication/sign_in 

This will log you into the CMS just as before, and to keep life easy for you, you will still be able to use /admin at the end of your website address to log in to the CMS. For example, www.{youragency}.co.uk/admin will take you to the login screen.

We have also upgraded the password reset functionality so that password resetting is a completely automated process. You will see on the login page a statement that says “I don’t know my password”: use the email address linked to your profile within the CMS and you will be emailed a link to reset your password (the email will come from [email protected]).

2. Announcement: Streetview Editor

Has Google got your property’s Streetview facing the bins? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Now you can orientate Streetview’s positioning by yourself via the Homeflow CMS. Simply go to the ‘Location’ tab for your chosen property, drag the Streetview image to face the correct way and then click ‘Save and confirm location’.

3. Drive Traffic Direct to your Website: Boomerang Auto-Responder

Want to drive traffic from the portals straight to your website? Our Boomerang auto-responder tool provides just that and more. As soon as a tenant or applicant makes an enquiry to one of your properties on any of the portals, we’ll send them an auto-response with your branding. This sets you out from the pack.

Remember, people using portals are enquiring about a property, not an agent. So getting a prompt and professional response out quickly ahead of your competitors shows your agency to be a cut above.

Secondly, Boomerang emails also feature other similar properties, which pulls the search behaviour from the portal to searches on your site – where there is no competitive stock.

Thirdly, the impact on repeat visits and drawing traffic from major sites to yours will improve your SEO.

4. Multi-Branch Staff Profiles

Do you have staff members who work across several branches and would like that to be accurately represented on your website? Well, soon you will be able to do just that. We are working on a feature in the Homeflow CMS that will allow you to have ‘linked branches’ for individual staff members. This is close to completion, so keep an eye on your inbox in the coming weeks.
